Absolute tranquillity in the heart of the spa town
The Barcode House is situated in the very heart of Meran. Its fenced garden and parking lie directly at the Winter Promenade, inviting the guests to have breakfast outside, relax and play while enjoying the beautiful views of the Passer river, the eponymous promenade and the verdant Sissi Park. The Tappeiner Promenade, parish church and Lauben (arcade alley) are just a stone’s throw away, the Sissi walk runs alongside the house and the Therme Meran thermal baths also lie within walking distance. The river terrace of the Passer river running just opposite the house can easily be reached by the guests of the Barcode House.
Roswitha Blaas rents out the Barcode House, while her husband Jeremy takes care of the house, garden and the guests. Both are fluent in German, Italian and English and also in sign language. It is very important to them to convey the uniqueness of their house and its position to their guests.
Most of all, the guests love the tranquillity that distinguishes the little house in the centre of the city. Shops, restaurants, bars and sights are all located in the immediate vicinity, walks and leisure facilities are equally close. Roswitha and Jeremy will gladly pick you up from the train station, provide parking spaces for bikes and motorcycles and offer insider tips for exciting motorcycle tours and other excursions. The Barcode House owes its name to its unique facade, by the way: it looks just like a barcode.
